Well-known trial attorney Mark McNabola and his wife, Eileen, met with An Taoiseach Enda Kenny, TD, Prime Minister of Ireland, on June 5.
The event honoring him was held at the Drake Hotel in Chicago.
Kenny, Ireland’s leader since 2011, was making his last speech in
Chicago as prime minister, according to the Sun-Times. In May, he announced his resignation,
paving the way for his replacement, the new leader of Fine Gael, Leo
Varadkar.
In his speech Monday, Kenny spoke about the need for unity in an increasingly “fragile world,” according to the Sun-Times.
“It was an honor to meet with and attend Prime Minister Kenny’s final speech in Chicago as prime minister,” Mark McNabola said. “He achieved great success and peace for the Irish people.”
McNabola is an Executive Board Member and a Vice President with The Irish Fellowship Club.
